As a singer songwriter, audio engineer, and an all around creative, Jasmine Kamilah is passionate about creating organic, soulful music & visual content that speaks to people. While she is originally from the Chicagoland area, Nashville has been home to her for the last 7 years and she finds inspiration everywhere she goes. To Jasmine, it's not about just producing a product, but building meaningful relationships with the individuals she works with. She is here to create an environment that encourages the artist's creativity and progression towards their sound, while keeping true to their authentic nature.

 

Jasmine graduated with a degree in Audio Engineering from Greenville University and received additional music industry training at the Contemporary Music Center, where she received instruction from accomplished and beloved songwriter and artist, Rick Elias and producer/engineer, Luke Dejaynes.

 

She also was a part of the inaugural class of the OnRamp program, which was sponsored by the Academy of Country Music and Black Music Action Coalition, which seeks to provide more resources and mentorship to men and women of color pursuing careers in the music industry.

 

As of September 11th, 2023, Jasmine Kamilah officially joined the ranks of some great female artists when she made her debut with the Song Suffragettes at The Listening Room Cafe in Nashville.
